To properly clean your Invisalign clear aligners, follow these simple steps using a toothbrush, toothpaste, and a retainer or denture cleaner:

• Rinse your aligners under room temperature or lukewarm water (avoid water that is too hot or cold).
• Apply toothpaste to your toothbrush, then gently brush each aligner inside and out using circular motions.
• After brushing, rinse your aligners again and check for calcium or tartar build-up, which appears as a cloudy white film that can be difficult to remove with a toothbrush.
• Soak your Invisalign in a retainer or denture cleaner as needed, following the product’s instructions carefully.
• Once you’ve completed all cleaning steps, either return your aligners to your mouth or let them dry in their case before resuming use.
